During our last Thursday session at WLC for the 2024/25 season, we had the final of our club tournament.

We had 20 entrants battling to win the Charlie Flint Cup.

The handicaps made for some closely fought matches to 41 with many ending in with scores in the 30’s indicating the handicaps were well calculated.

Several of our club’s up and coming younger members entered and each performed well, with Mason making it to the quarter finals, brothers Li and Aaron making it to the semi-finals and Dylan putting on a very strong showing to reach the final. With all four featuring in the league this season this is promising for future WTTC teams.

A competitive final between Neil Patterson and Dylan saw the match go to 39-39, with Neil utilising his skill and experience to take the final two points to be our first repeat winner of the Charlie Flint Cup. Well done, Neil!
